Known on the platform for her perfectly blushed cheeks, top-rated gloss picks and effortlessly blow-dried hair, Elizabeth is a bit of an oracle when it comes to makeup pairings – especially lip and blush combos.
So when the new Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution landed on our desks and NARS lip products kept popping up on our feeds, we knew we wanted her word on how to make them work. Take notes.
The “cold girl” flush
According to Elizabeth, MECCA MAX’s Off Duty Blush Stick in ‘Moody’ paired with the Hourglass Glossy Balm in ‘Lure’ is “the perfect combo for autumn and winter”.

The perfect red lip
“Red lips can be quite intimidating, especially when trying to find a blush that compliments the shade of red you have chosen,” Elizabeth tells us.
While applying her favourite red, Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution in ‘Cinematic Red’, Elizabeth explains it’s best to apply a bold lip colour before blush: “Oftentimes, your lip will help you decide what shades you want to wear on your cheeks.”
She chose Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Blush in ‘Sublime Flush’ for this combo, telling us, “It's such a subtle pink that gives life to your cheeks, but lets the lips shine.”
A pink for everyday
“There is nothing worse than trying to dull down a cheek colour you may have applied too much of,” Elizabeth says while applying the NARS Blush in ‘Orgasm X’ (aka the more intense version of the cult classic ‘Orgasm’ blush). “Building up the product is my favourite way to avoid over-blushing”
“Orgasm X pairs well with anything, but it especially looks great with the NARS Powermatte Lipstick,” she continues.
Her shade of choice? Sweet Disposition, a beige pink she describes as “a very wearable everyday lip colour that compliments the blush perfectly.”
