Kylie Jenner's Skin Looks So Good, This Foundation is Why

We have a sneaking suspicion this is thanks to Kylie Cosmetics’ new Power Plush Longwear Foundation and Power Plush Longwear Concealer.
“This is the first foundation we’ve launched as a brand, and we spent over three years perfecting the formula to ensure it offered everything I look for,” Kylie told us.
She explained, “Foundation will always be one of my go-to beauty essentials, so it made sense to introduce it into our line. I’m truly obsessed with this formula.”
And it’s not hard to see why. The foundation – with a medium, buildable coverage and satin finish – sits in the sweet spot between not too dewy and not too matte. The concealer, also a medium buildable coverage, has a hydrating formula designed to both cover breakouts or dark circles, and (in true Kylie fashion) can be used for highlighting and contouring. Even better, both come in 40 shades, making it easy to find your perfect match.
To celebrate their arrival on our shelves this month, we asked MECCA HQ for their first impressions.
Here’s what they told us…
Brittany wears 5WN
“Normally when I put foundation on, within a couple of hours I can feel it slipping,” says PR Manager Brittany. But on her combination skin, the Power Plush Foundation lasted all day long. “I really like the formula and how it’s sitting.”
Brittany – who has since informed us she is still regularly using the foundation – added that it was easy to apply with her brush, saying she loved how “it blended in really well”.
Jordie wears 1W
Skincare Education Cadet Jordie also applied the foundation with a brush, saying “I love how little product I used and the coverage I got… you really don't need a lot of product”. Awarding points for its finish, Jordie – a self-titled ‘glowy girl only’– told us how well the foundation worked over the breakouts that were starting to make themselves known, “Honestly when I put it on, I was like ‘Oh, they're kind of blurred They're gone.’ So that was great!”
The praise continued with the concealer: “It’s a really creamy consistency and it blended out like a dream.”
Pam wears 9.5C
These were the first Kylie Cosmetics products Senior Talent Acquisition Partner Pam had ever tried, and she was very impressed. “I was excited to try it because I've heard that she puts a lot of time and effort into [her products],” she said.
Pam – who has oilier skin – praised how the foundation was long-wearing without feeling drying or matte: “I think the texture is amazing. It doesn't dry too quickly, too. There's enough of that glowiness, which is my usual look.”
Lainie wears 6.5N
As someone who typically doesn’t wear foundation every day, we were curious to see what M-POWER Content & Campaigns Manager Lainie thought. The verdict? “I’m really conscious that sometimes foundations get caught in the creases,” she told us, adding, “I don't feel like that's happened with this one!”
She also loved the concealer, saying, “I used it under my eyes and on some other darker spots on my skin. It gave me great coverage.”
