Glossier Lash Slick Lift and Lengthening Mascara
Lash Slick might just be Glossier’s most slept-on product. It’s not flashy or dramatic, which is kind of the point, MECCA’s Head of Brand Experience and Partnerships, Catherine, tells us. “As much as I get swept up by marketing claims that this or that mascara is going to give me the thickest and longest lashes ever, the reality is the majority of mascaras for me are too clumpy and are hanging out in a smudgy gang around my eye bags by lunchtime.” Not this one. Cat says it’s the slim wand that makes all the difference. “The wand goes on like you’ve painted each individual lash with the finest ink pen. Also no smudges on my moist (sorry) eyes.”

Glossier Orange Blossom Neroli Deodorant Refill Stick
Glossier’s deodorant – an aluminium-free stick that glides on clear and feels like nothing - doesn’t get nearly enough credit. “It's the first ‘natural’ deodorant to work for me, and I think it's because the ingredient list is so different,” reveals Tiana, MECCA’s Digital Marketing & Media Coordinator. “Who would’ve thought of potato starch over baking soda? But here we are.”
Tiana also loves the scent: “It’s subtle, yet not overpowering. I hate a deodorant that then takes over from your perfume completely, but this just makes you smell fresh.”

Glossier Lip Line Enhancing Pencil
Unlike the harsh, heavy liners of the past, this creamy, long-wear formula allows you to define, shape and slightly enhance your lips in the most natural way possible. “I never knew I could love a lip liner this much,” says Ruby. “It glides on like silk but doesn’t budge, no matter what I put it through. The shades are all amazing, but my favourite is ‘Buff’ for an everyday look.”

Glossier Orange Blossom Neroli Daily Oil Wash
It’s just body wash, right? Wrong, says Cat. “Why do I love it? It’s an oil body wash! They’re hard to find and even harder to be the right balance of cleansing and moisturising and this is the one I’ve been looking for all my life. And the scent! I’m obsessed with orange blossom scents – they transport me to summer holidays in France where the orange blossom aroma lingers in the soap and linens. My bathroom in rainy Melbourne couldn’t be further from the Côte d’Azur, but now it feels a little closer.”
If you’re as into the scent as Cat, she recommends layering it with the matching body moisturiser which is instantly soaks into the skin, smooth as silk. Then lock it all in with the body mist on top.
