A touch zesty and incredibly nourishing, this Soap Brick is made totally by hand using the freshest ingredients. We take Carrot Root extract and Orange Peel, and fold in moisturizing Rose Kaolin clay. The aroma of this Soap is equal parts earth and citrus rind featuring the zest of Italian Blood Orange.
Our Italian oil is cold-pressed from the darkened peels of the Blood Orange. It bursts with a vibrant sweetness, while remaining light and refreshingly tart.
Packed full of Garden ingredients, this recipe is hyper-simple, but the process is not – everything is truly made by hand and sourced from a fully traceable collection of growers. One important example is our Babassu Oil, which we sourced as an alternative to dreadful Palm Oil. It is harvested on the perimeter of the rainforest in Brazil by local communities, rather than industrialized. The seeds are gathered by a collective of Indigenous women who use the funds to directly support their families and community.
Key ingredients
Olive oil: locks in moisture with Oleic Acid and Squalene. Rich in antioxidants, it helps provide resilience against the sun, wind, and pollution, while also soothing.
Babassu oil: contains fatty acids and antioxidants to soothe both hair and skin. High levels of Lauric Acid add moisture and provide a beautiful lather in soaps.
Essential oils: help reduce stress and conjure moments in the garden.
Fragrance notes
Italian blood orange, rose kaolin clay and Kyoto red carrot.
Usage
Lather with water, using your hands or washcloth. Rinse and repeat.
