    Lactic Acid

One of the gentlest members of the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, lactic acid is a water-soluble acid that chemically exfoliates the surface of the skin to reveal a smooth, radiant complexion. Naturally derived from plant and dairy fermentation – or made synthetically – lactic acid breaks down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together, sweeping them away to reveal fresh skin underneath. This helps to increase your skin’s renewal process, leading to visibly firmer, hydrated and plumper skin!
