Born Creative
We’re all Born Creative. Chapter Two of the MECCA Archive
is a call to reclaim this essential human instinct in
an AI-driven world.
Remember the girl who used to ask why? The girl who made things with her hands. The girl who chose feeling before reason. The girl who didn’t wait for permission. You’re still that girl.

Creativity is at the heart of MECCA. It's how we started, how we work and what beauty makes possible: self-expression, experimentation, play.

Creativity isn't a gift given to some and not to others. We are all Born Creative. We just need a reminder that we are Still That Girl. How a girl expresses herself today shapes the confidence and judgement she'll need tomorrow, in a world that increasingly asks us to outsource our thinking.
Here, MECCA Founder and Co-CEO Jo Horgan shares the belief behind MECCA M-POWER's investment in girls' creative futures.
Investing in Girls' Creative Futures
Creativity is a vital skill of the future, and rarely has it been more urgent to protect it in the next generation of women. In 2026, MECCA M-POWER funded and delivered Born Creative Workshops with The Flourish Journey, and contributed $250,000 to The Song Room, bringing arts education into schools.

The Flourish Journey
The Flourish Journey is a preventative mental health charity supporting teenage girls and gender-diverse young people to build emotional intelligence, resilience and meaningful connection. In 2026, in partnership with MECCA M-POWER, it delivered Born Creative Workshops across Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand).
