If you’ve consumed any beauty content in the last couple of years, we’re almost positive you’ve seen Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops™

If you haven’t seen it online, maybe you’ve witnessed the pandemonium that occurs every weekend in front of the Glow Recipe display of your local MECCA store.

Well, good news for the super fans of this luscious serum – its sunkissed little sister has just landed: introducing the highly anticipated Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops™!

These bronzing drops promise all the skin loving benefits of their pink predecessor, but with a hint of tint.

Wear alone for a radiance boost, mix with your foundation for extra glow or tap onto your cheekbones as a highlighter.

Let MECCA HQ show you how it’s done…

A highly rated highlighter

Product Compliance Coordinator Aaron applied the drops as a highlighter and was obsessed with the radiance left behind: “It was hydrating and comfortable, but not too shimmery either.”

Extra points were awarded for how the drops blended in with his skin tone. “Having a medium-deep complexion, I find it quite difficult to find a product that adds warmth and glow to my complexion that also compliments my natural undertones,” Aaron said, adding, “But this was beautiful, not too cool, not too warm – .you could say they're the perfect ‘Hue’.”

A subtle bronzer, for the bronzer-averse

As a fair redhead, Editorial Content Manager Kerri told us she was initially nervous about the drops' deeper hue – but those concerns were unfounded.

“I was so impressed at how the serum sheered out and took the fluorescent 'edge' off my paleness,” she told us, praising them as the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of bronzing drops if you’ve never done so before.

“They won't leave you looking like an Oompa-Loompa, and the slippy serum texture means they blend into your skin super easily, without clinging to dry patches you didn't know you had,” she added.

A priming booster

Senior Talent Acquisition Partner Pam (the number-one fan of Glow Recipe’s Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm) applied a pump underneath her makeup as a primer.

“My favourite part of the drops is how my skin looks after the application of my foundation,” she told us, while praising the lightweight texture: “It just glides on my skin, leaving this amazing glow!!!”

A base necessity

The OG Niacinamide Watermelon Dew Drops™ are already an essential in Trade Campaign Manager Ruby’s routine, and the Hue Drops™ will be “a natural transition for days when I’m wanting some extra warmth,” she said.

Ruby applied one pump all over her face, blending with fingers for a natural-looking dewy finish. The verdict? “They gave a beautiful glowy look with such a smooth skincare feel!”

A sunkissed glow

Another fan of the original Dew Drops™, Event Specialist Jack, loved how his skin looked after he applied the tinted version, saying: “My favourite part about this product is how it adapts to anyone’s skin tone and provides a sunkissed glow.”

He added that he was very impressed with how the formula looked and felt – particularly how quickly it absorbed, leaving a glow that complemented his complexion.
