Trying the Essential Lip Compact in the showstopping shade ‘Red 1’, Elena was wowed by the hue, despite being someone who doesn’t often wear a red lip. “I loved the pop of colour –it’s one of those reds that feels bold but not intimidating. It instantly lifts your whole look and works beautifully no matter the occasion or season,” she said.

Describing the finish as sitting between a satin and a soft matte, she found it “incredibly buttery and comfortable” to wear throughout the day.
