    Lactic Acid

    One of the gentlest members of the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, lactic acid is a water-soluble acid that chemically exfoliates the surface of the skin to reveal a smooth, radiant complexion. Naturally derived from plant and dairy fermentation – or made synthetically – lactic acid breaks down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together, sweeping them away to reveal fresh skin underneath.
