National Gallery of Victoria

The oldest and most visited Australian art gallery.

In 2015 MECCA and the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), one of Australia’s leading and most progressive institutions, set out to elevate and spotlight the work of emerging female artists. Since then, this holistic collaboration has succeeded in amplifying the work of 8 artists.

As well as sponsoring the acquisition of work by the artists for the NGV Collection, MECCA engaged each artist to create limited-edition gift packaging for our signature Holiday campaign. Thanks to years of exceptional collaborations, this has become a sought-after collector’s item for beauty lovers. In this way, MECCA aims to bring art, inspiration and greater awareness of the power and potential of female artists to its millions of customers.
