Dedicated to helping students facing adversity overcome obstacles.
We partner with the Skyline Education Foundation in Victoria to support female students through the last two years of their secondary education.
For 20 years, the Skyline Program has addressed educational inequity by empowering high-potential students facing economic and social adversity to complete VCE and flourish in their communities. Skyline lifts up Year 11 and 12 students through its unique program of financial, educational, and emotional support.
Many of Skyline's alumni are the first in their families to complete secondary school and pursue tertiary education and employment, breaking the cycle of intergenerational disadvantage.

- In 2023 of the girls who completed the Skyline Program, 98% went on to tertiary study. Over 45% scored an ATAR of 80 or above
- Since 2019, MECCA has supported 259 female students participating in the Skyline Program
- 76% of female students entered university following Year 12
- 68% of female applicants were assessed to be living on or below the 2019 ACOSS poverty line
- Over 36% of applicants come from a single parent family
- 30% of applicants liv in households where English is not the primary language spoken in the home
