Designed to be worn on closed wounds only. Begin usage for 4-8 hours a day, gradually increasing to 24 hours for best results. For optimal effectiveness, use consistently for 8 weeks for new scars, and 12-24 weeks for existing scars. Each strip lasts up to 4 weeks, providing a total therapy time of 12 weeks.
Silicone scar therapy is most effective while the scar is still healing – typically within the first 6 to 12 months, or up to 18–24 months for those prone to hypertrophic or keloid scarring. Once the scar has fully matured, results may be more limited, though continued use may still support skin hydration and comfort.
