Founded by celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman, Westman Atelier is all about fresh, effortless and radiant makeup, with a luxurious feel.

Think: ultra-buttery, blendable cream contours and blushes, glistening highlighters and just-bitten lip palettes in elevated compacts and magnetic sticks.

The brand also focuses on plant-derived ingredients and is vegan-friendly. Says Westman, “I wanted luxury performance without using the ingredients on our blacklist. I must always be firm and steadfast in collaborating with our partners because 10 out of 10 times they would always convince me to use an ingredient that we do not allow. Thank goodness I am really stubborn!”

She adds, “I was raised as a vegetarian – we lived in an ashram [an Indian spiritual retreat] for a number of years in my childhood, and my diet is still 100 percent plant-based. I'm also the most passionate animal lover! [Westman Atelier has] always been committed to a range of vegan formulas within our products. We always strive to find new ways to create beautiful formulas and pigments that really perform and still fall within the vegan range, wherever and whenever we can.”

Of her brand’s commitment to purpose-led beauty, Westman adds: “It is an extension of my lifestyle and what I look for in everything. I like the luxury experience and appreciate that it feels like a more meaningful part of your routine because there are so many things out there, [so] I wanted to focus on an edit of the right products.”
