Purchase Terms and Conditions

LAST UPDATED: 6 AUGUST 2026

We’ve recently updated these terms and conditions. We encourage you to read the updated terms in full by clicking on each of the below headings.

Welcome to MECCA, where you can find the best of the best in global beauty.

    1. MECCA operates a website at www.mecca.com and the MECCA app (collectively, the Sites). These terms and conditions (which can be accessed in full by clicking on each of the headings below) (Terms), the Website Terms and Conditions, the Beauty Loop Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, any other terms and conditions and policies that you may find on the Sites (such as our Returns and Exchanges Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy), and any applicable laws or regulations govern the purchase (or proposed purchase) of any products from MECCA.
    2. These Terms do not govern the purchase (or proposed purchase) of any products (Third Party Products) from a third party (including a concession partner) (Third Party Provider) within a MECCA store (including a MECCA Flagship store). The purchase of Third Party Products is governed by the terms and conditions of the respective Third Party Provider.
    3. For the purpose of these Terms, MECCA, we, us, or our means:
      1. MECCA Brands Pty Ltd if you are purchasing products from a MECCA store located in Australia or the MECCA online store in Australia located at www.mecca.com/en-au; or
      2. MECCA Brands NZ Pty Ltd if you are purchasing products from a MECCA store located in New Zealand or the MECCA online store located in New Zealand at www.mecca.com/en-nz.
    4. You should read these Terms carefully before purchasing any products from MECCA. We encourage you to consult our Help section or contact our Customer Care team here, if you have any particular questions in relation to these Terms.
    5. By purchasing a product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you purchase any products from MECCA on someone else's behalf, you represent that you have the authority to do so, and accept these Terms, on their behalf.
    1. We may modify or remove any part of these Terms at any time, or upon notice as required by law. If we elect to modify these Terms, we will post a new version on the Sites and update the date set out above. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to, or removal from, the Sites. Your continued purchase of products thereafter constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these Terms. If you do not agree to any change, then you must immediately stop purchasing any products.
    2. You should read and carefully consider these Terms before purchasing a product and check back regularly for any changes. The terms that apply to any purchases from MECCA are the Terms that apply at the time you place the order. Any changes to the Terms made after you have placed an order will not affect that order, unless we are required to make the change by law.
    1. You may place an order in store or via the Sites.
    2. To place an order, you must:
      1. meet the below eligibility criteria; and
      2. provide your personal and payment details, including your full name, phone number, e-mail address and any other requested information. By providing these details, you represent and warrant that they are valid and correct and that you are the person specified in the ‘Billing information’ section.
    3. You will meet the eligibility criteria if:
      1. you hold a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank that is acceptable to MECCA or you hold another means of payment that is acceptable to MECCA, such as a valid Paypal or Afterpay account (Alternate Payment Method); and
      2. you have authorised MECCA to process 1 or more charges on your credit or debit card or Alternate Payment Method in an amount equivalent to the total purchase price for the products that are the subject of the order.
    4. Orders may not be changed or cancelled once processed.
    5. We reserve the right to only accept orders from those aged over 18, as legislated by the relevant state or territory of residence.
    1. When you place an order via the Sites or in store, you make an offer to purchase the selected products from us in accordance with these Terms. Your offer is accepted, and the contract for the supply of the products is completed, when an email is sent from us (or our authorised agent) confirming that the products have been dispatched and handed over to the designated carrier. For the avoidance of doubt, your offer has not been accepted when you add 1 or more items to your cart or otherwise place your order.
    2. For products purchased in store (including in any of our tax-free stores (Tax-free Store)), your offer is accepted, and the contract for the supply of the products is completed, upon receipt at the point of sale.
    3. At the time your order is placed, your credit or debit card or Alternate Payment Method will be charged in the amount equivalent to the total price for the products that are the subject of the order. The transaction may appear as ‘authorisation only’ or ‘pending’ on your bank statement until your order is fulfilled.
    4. We have a responsibility to provide you with a secure payment gateway. To protect the interests of you and your financial institution, we conduct and implement fraud detection processes, including monitoring suspicious transactions and verifying the authenticity of orders. If your order (or your nominated payment method) triggers our fraud prevention protocols, we may contact you to confirm additional details. Your order must pass our fraud prevention protocols before it will be fulfilled. If we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, or you do not provide the requested information within the required timeframe, your order may be cancelled and payment returned, if applicable, via the original payment method. In those circumstances, your bank may take 3 to 5 working days to clear the funds back into your account.
    5. We may use your personal information (e.g. your personal and payment details) for the purpose of performing credit checks. Where necessary, we may transmit or obtain information or updated information about you (including your card number) to or from third parties for the purposes of authenticating your identity, validating your card, obtaining an initial credit card authorisation and/or authorising individual purchase transactions. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how we use your personal information.
    6. We reserve the right to:
      1. reject your offer at any time at our reasonable discretion, including in the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, the products are unavailable or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out, or otherwise contemplated, in these Terms; and
      2. restrict or limit the quantity of particular products being shipped to any one customer or postal address.
  • MECCA Beauty Loop is our customer rewards program. You may hold, or register, a MECCA Beauty Loop member account also known as ‘My Account’ (Beauty Loop Account). You may be restricted from using or accessing some parts of the Sites if you do not hold or register, and log in to, your Beauty Loop Account. If you place an order via the Sites as a guest, the transaction will not contribute to your Beauty Loop Spend (as defined in the Beauty Loop Terms and Conditions) and cannot be retroactively amended. Please see our Beauty Loop Terms and Conditions for further information.

We aim to update our digital platforms with any changes as soon as we can, but you should check the product packaging for the most up-to-date ingredient list. If you want to double check an ingredient, please contact our Customer Care team here.
