She’s travelled the world just to catch a whiff of the destined-for-icon-status scents before they’ve even hit shelves. And while she works with some of beauty’s most iconic and innovative perfumers, her approach to fragrance is anything but complicated: “I see fragrance like fashion,” she says. “It finishes the look, but more than that, it shifts how you feel.”
Forget the idea of one signature scent. Reine instead has a fragrance wardrobe, choosing her daily spritz based on what suits the moment.
“My advice is to treat your collection like an emotional moodboard and pick your scent based on how you want to feel that day. Is it powerful? Grounded? Playful? Fragrance is personal. Don’t select something because other people think it smells good.”
“In saying that,” Reine adds, “There are no rules to fragrance. It’s like a bold lipstick or great pair of shoes; it should make you feel more like you. Try things, layer, switch it up, just go with what feels right to you and enjoy it.”

Rich, velvety and ultra-romantic, this is Reine’s favourite for a night out. “I love to wear it on a date. It’s mysterious and indulgent, like silk in a scent.” With violet, vanilla and a swirl of oud, this one’s bold in the best way. It’s the kind of enveloping scent that lingers long after you’ve left the room.

Created in collaboration with a boundary-pushing fashion house, this scent is “bright, fresh, confident and always gets compliments,” according to Reine. With crisp aldehydes, sweet florals and creamy sandalwood, think of it like that staple outfit you wear when you want to feel put together without trying too hard.

Reine declares this her “subtle, power scent”, best paired with busy workdays that call for a blazer. With warm patchouli leaves, dried spices and a whisper of smoke, it doesn’t shout, it radiates. An elegant and slightly earthy scent that manages to be both effortlessly cool and quietly commanding.

“This is literally in my bag at all times, and I reach for it when things feel chaotic,” Reine explains. Eucalyptus, incense and cedarwood are designed to keep you grounded. Apply this rollerball for the fragrance equivalent of deep breath.

This magnetic scent reminds Reine of her partner: “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I love smelling it just because it smells like him.". Notes of saffron and amber are anchored by warm woods to create a robust, captivating fragrance.
